Flue Gas Specific Heat (Btu/lb -F) and Enthalpy (Btu/lb)
[ back to full computer program list ]
1. Calculates the Specific Heat (Btu/lb-F) for numerous gases typically found in Flue Gaswhen the
engineer inputs a Flue Gas Temperature.
2. The program also calculates the Enthalpy (Btu/lb) for each of the gases when the engineer inputs a
Flue Gas Temperature.
3. The engineer can also input the lbs/hour of each gas which then allows the program to
calculate
the Btu/hour energy flow for each gas and it will also sum the total to determine the Total Flue Gas energy flow (Btu/hour).
Example #1 - Specific Heat (Btu/lb-F) and Enthalpy (Btu/lb) for Gases Typically Found in Flue Gas
Flue gas temperature input to the program: 497.3020 F
